Bruges Triennial presents: Spaces of Possibility
With Spaces of Possibility, the Bruges Triennial 2024 takes a close look at Bruges and the public space: which places are currently un(der)used? How can we maximise the city centre by dealing with space differently? This fourth edition of TRIBRU challenges artist and architect, viewer and user to think about the future of Bruges and cities worldwide.
Discover the artists and architects in TRIBRU24
Twelve (inter)national artists and architects have been invited to TRIBRU24 to reflect on the city of tomorrow. Through temporary art and architectural interventions, they reflect on new forms of (re)use and seek beauty in things that are often overlooked. Together with the curators, thirteen hidden or unknown places in Centre, West Bruges and Zeebrugge were sought out to temporarily redevelop them.
A city-wide collaboration in 2024
TRIBRU24 will be a shared story! In addition to twelve installations in the public domain, four Bruges cultural partners are presenting a fascinating programme inspired by Bruges Triennial 2024: Spaces of Possibility. Together with Cultuurcentrum Brugge, De Republiek, Het Entrepot and Musea Brugge, we are starting a city-wide movement in 2024, reflecting on the future of Bruges.
