Triennial Bruges introduces its hospitality ambassadors
In a hidden spot in the Minnewater Park, this week we introduced our 28 hospitality ambassadors in the presence of the board and the curatorial team of Triennial Bruges 2021.
Bruges is the cultural city par excellence and a gastronomic gem with many pearls. Horeca establishments not only serve delicious dishes but they are also often situated in picturesque spots.
Behind the typical façades, there is sometimes a surprising interior or a terrace to be discovered. The theme of Triennial Bruges is about looking at Bruges from different perspectives. Discovering the city in all its aspects is also possible through the people who work there and who pamper Bruges residents and visitors on a daily basis.
Town councillor for Work and Enterprise, Pablo Annys.
When Triennial Bruges and Work en Entrepreneurship started looking for bars and restaurants where people could find information, such as a walking map, while enjoying a snack or a drink, the location was of great importance. The 28 participating businesses are located in the city centre of Bruges, in the proximity of an installation of Triennial Bruges or along the road that connects the thirteen installations. The ambassadors promote the art route and commit themselves to respond in a creative way to the theme of Triennial Bruges 2021: TraumA.
There is no better platform than that of locals. It is enriching that we can let our art route be carried and spread by local people in so many places. With the cooperation of our ambassadors, Triennial Bruges 2021 stimulates and connects all senses in the most pleasant way.
Mayor Dirk De fauw
